THE State Gov­ern­ment has al­lo­cated more than $124,000 to four re­search projects to help safe­guard Queens­land’s many en­dan­gered species. En­vi­ron­ment Min­is­ter Dr Steven Miles said two of the projects aimed to pro­tect na­tive an­i­mals from the threat of feral cats. It’s es­ti­mated there are about 1.5 mil­lion feral cats in Queens­land.
