Gayn­dah golf re­sults

START­ING out the week lead­ing into the of­fi­cial 2017 sea­son launch for the Gayn­dah Golf Club a com­bined 70 play­ers took part in rounds this week.

Of the 12 play­ers who com­peted in Tues­day’s vets game, Des Ran­dall was able to clinch the win af­ter a count­back, beat­ing out run­ner-up Norma Burns who was un­lucky to miss out.

Bev Em­mer­ton had the best pin shot at 65cm.

The Thurs­day sporters once again at­tracted the largest group of play­ers with 31 and Matt Zill­man con­tin­ued his run of good form by win­ning the so­cial round with a nett score of 21.

Another count­back was re­quired for the re­sult, leav­ing Tim Ul­coq in sec­ond place on 21 and Rod Ul­coq in third on 22.

Satur­day was the Jan­uary Monthly Medal game and Lind­say Baker found the best form to win the round with a nett score of 60.

Greg Zahl fin­ished sec­ond on 66 while Bev Em­mer­ton se­cured another best pin shot.
