Shed fire near Biggenden
QUEENSLAND Fire and Emergency Services were called out to a property just outside Gooroolba at 5.30am on Sunday after reports of a fire in a hay shed on Biggenden Gooroolba Road.
A QFES spokeswomen said a fire in the hay shed looked to have two vehicles involved.
“It looks like there was a vehicle and a mower involved in that fire,” the spokeswoman said.
“It was extinguished just after 6am and we stayed on the scene to help make it safe then it was handed back to the property owners at 7.30am.”
Two QFES crews attended the fire.
“The shed had some solar panels on top which can present extra issues,” Mr Harrison said.
“Because they are very hard to isolate the power from especially during the day when they are generating their most power.
“The situation was taken care off in quick time because our crews got in there and did a great job and did it quickly.”
Investigations into the cause of the fire are still ongoing.
“At this stage is is very difficult to determine what might have started the fire and that remains under investigation,” Mr Harrison said.
