It’s time to pay your council rates again
NORTH Burnett ratepayers are advised that the rate notices for the half year January 1 to June 30, 2017 will be posted to addresses as shown in the Land Record this week.
Ratepayers who do not received a rate notice are requested to advise Rate staff by visiting their nearest office of the North Burnett Regional Council or by calling 1300 696 272 (1300 MY NBRC).
Discount of 10% expires at 4pm on Friday, March 17.
No discount will be allowed after this time.
Council will start charging interest on overdue rates at the rate of 11% per annum compounded on daily balances from the day after the close of the discount period.
Rates payments can also be made via direct debit. Simply complete a direct debit request form available at all Council Administration Offices, on council’s website, or can be mailed to you upon telephone request. If you would like assistance to calculate a suggested direct debit payment amount, please contact one of council’s rates officers.
If you have recently changed your address please notify council of the change in writing as soon as possible.
Notification can be via email to email@example.com, post – PO Box 390, Gayndah QLD 4625 or hand delivered to your local administration office.
Council understands that from time to time ratepayers may experience financial difficulties. In such circumstances ratepayers are encouraged to contact Council as soon as possible to enter into an acceptable payment arrangement.
