Po­lice ap­peal for help from you

BREAK and en­ters have oc­cureed in and around the Gayndah area with the most re­cent lo­ca­tions tar­geted be­ing the Gayndah meat hall and pack­ing shed.

Po­lice are seek­ing as­sis­tance from the pub­lic and ask that any­one with in­for­ma­tion con­tact them.

You can also do so anony­mously via Crime Stop­pers, Gayndah Po­lice Sergeant Josh Ryan said.

“Some­time be­tween Sun­day, April 9 and Mon­day, April 10 a num­ber of busi­nesses within the Gayndah area have been tar­geted by an un­known of­fender or of­fend­ers,” Sgt Ryan said.

“The Gayndah Meat Hall and the Gayndah pack­ing shed in Bridge Street Gayndah have been tar­geted, at this time Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing if the two in­ci­dents are linked and are seek­ing as­sis­tance from the com­mu­nity.”

Sgt Ryan ap­pealed for in­for­ma­tion.

“I’m ask­ing any per­son that may have seen or heard any­thing in and around these ar­eas to con­tact po­lice im­me­di­ately.”
