Chocolate Easter bowl

Central and North Burnett Times - - RURAL WEEKLY -

BOTH a fun activity to do with kids as well as a recipe.

These chocolate bowls are great as an incentive for kids and grandkids to eat all their dinner and then get one, or as a special Easter morning treat to store eggs in.

All you need to do is get a packet of chocolate melts and zap in the microwave for 3 x 30 second intervals, blow some balloons up to a small size. Spray the bottom with oil spray.

Dip the balloon into the chocolate. Put a dab of melted chocolate onto a lined tray and then place the balloon coated in chocolate on the small amount of chocolate, set in fridge for about half an hour, pop balloons and use the bowl to serve as desired. Ice cream, fruit salad, lollies, Easter eggs, cream, anything!
