Woodchop timber up for grabs
EVER wondered what happens to all the tonnes of wood used in the famous woodchop competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show?
Well, it is sold – and you can buy it.
In fact, the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW is keen to begin clearing it now as the woodchop competition timber is already piling up.
The timber is being sold at $650 for a 20 cubic metre bin (that’s a lot of wood), which includes free delivery within a 55-kilometre radius of Sydney Olympic Park. Outside of the 55 kilometres there is a delivery charge.
This wood is green and may have nails from this year’s competition, but left sit for a year it will make perfect fire wood for your 2018 fire or business.
The wood size varies from kindling to pieces up to 30cm in length.
Delivery of timber will take place until Tuesday, April 18, usually prior to 8am.
If you are interested in purchasing a load please contact the RAS via firstname.lastname@example.org.
FOR SALE: The wood from the Royal Easter woodchop competition will be sold.
