Central and North Burnett Times - - RURAL WEEKLY -

LOCATED at 195 Moran Rd in the picturesque Linthorpe Valley is the appealing property El-Rita.

Comprising 64.75ha (160 acres), El-Rita runs from the fertile black clay soils of the Linthorpe Valley into shaded basalt country.

Currently, 10.5ha is used for cropping, with a further 14ha planted to an excellent stand of improved pastures.

Improvements include a solid, well-presented four-bedroom Queenslander residence, which in recent years has had a new roof and guttering fitted, and lowmaintenance vinyl cladding to the exterior.

There are two machinery sheds, one fully enclosed, ex-dairy shed with three-phase power and steel portable cattle yards with vet crush and calf branding race and cradle.

The one thing that makes El-Rita stand out from the rest is the 40 megalitre irrigation

allocation with an equipped irrigation bore, which has a pumping rate in excess of 10,000gph.

This bore is also connected to underground mains, which cover about three hectares, which was used as an ex-turf farm operation. In addition there is a stock and domestic bore which is equipped.

El-Rita is a good all round property suitable for cattle, horse, gain, fodder production and with the benefit of the irrigation lends itself to lucerne or horticulture.

The property is well located just near to the new airport at Wellcamp.
