Central and North Burnett Times - - NEWS -

THE North Burnett Transport Service Rosa bus (18-seater) is under maintenance until May 1.

An alternative bus commenced this week with council utilising the Hi-Ace commuter (eight-seater) with bookings essential due to limited seating.

Residents are advised that the scheduled service for Thursday, April 27, running from Mundubbera to Bundaberg and return is fully booked. No further bookings are available for this service.

North Burnett Mayor Rachel Chambers said the maintenance was necessary to ensure services continued to run as efficiently as possible.

“The Rosa bus service was in need of repairs and should be good to run by the start of May,” Cr Chambers said.

“It will be inconvenient but council are doing the best they can to accommodate for people’s needs with a second bus in place.”
