Weather good re­prieve for those across re­gion

RAIN re­lief across the North Bur­nett is ex­pected to come to an end to­day.

It is ex­pected that af­ter Thurs­day, the clear blue skies will re­turn ready for the Mun­dub­bera Show this week­end.

BOM me­te­o­rol­o­gist Dean Nar­ramore said some ar­eas should ex­pect around 25mm to 50mm on Wed­nes­day night.

“These past few days we’ve re­ceived some good falls but the big­gest one to look out for is Wed­nes­day night, some ar­eas will re­ceive a good amount,” Mr Nar­ramore said.

“Night time tem­per­a­tures are ex­pected to reach be­low 20 de­grees for the next few days as win­ter makes its en­trance in the re­gion.”

“Thurs­day and Fri­day should be mostly sunny days with a top tem­per­a­ture of 25 de­grees.”

The weather this week has been de­scribed as a “bit patchy.”

“We’ll see rain come on and off over the next cou­ple of days, it will be a bit patchy,” Mr Nar­ramore said.

Thurs­day will reach be­low 9 de­grees in Mun­dub­bera.
