Don’t miss Heart­land Fes­ti­val in June

WITH a lit­tle un­der two months to go un­til the Heart­land Fes­ti­val, the com­mit­tee has a week­end of de­li­cious­ness planned.

The fes­ti­val starts with a wine and cheese night on Fri­day, June 30, at Gayn­dah’s Art Gallery with wine and My Kitchen Rules win­ners Dan and Steph cater­ing.

The mar­ket day at the Gayn­dah show­grounds on Satur­day, July 1, prom­ises to be a great shop­ping day of all things grown, made or pro­duced lo­cally.

With more than 4000 through the gates for the Mar­ket Day at the first ever Fes­ti­val this event prom­ises to be a great op­por­tu­nity to get your pro­duce/prod­uct out there.

On Sun­day morn­ing, the day starts with break­fast/brunch at the Gayn­dah Her­itage Rail­way grounds be­fore em­bark­ing on two food tours.

One takes in all the fab­u­lous tastes and scenery of beau­ti­ful Coal­stoun Lakes be­fore lunch­ing in Biggen­den.

The other heads north for lunch in Eidsvold.
