VANESSA McIntyre is hon­oured to rep­re­sent such an amaz­ing com­mu­nity as Biggen­den’s Miss Show­girl.

She said by win­ning Miss Show­girl she will do her best to en­cour­age the young com­mu­nity mem­bers be­come more in­volved.

“This will help them be­come aware of how beau­ti­ful their town can be,” she said.

“I have spent the past 15 years grow­ing to love this town.

“Be­com­ing Miss Show­girl has been an am­bi­tion of mine.”

The 18 year-old would like to be­come more in­volved in the show so­ci­ety and with all the won­der­ful work they do in this com­mu­nity.

Her hob­bies in­clude per­form­ing arts, beauty ser­vices and bush walk­ing.

She has an in­ter­est in danc­ing how­ever her stud­ies and work prevent her un­der­tak­ing fur­ther classes.

Vanessa is keen to fin­ish her diploma in beauty ther­apy and learn more about her in­dus­try.

Her am­bi­tion is to be­come a beauty ther­a­pist work­ing on cruise ships and trav­el­ling all round the world.

“An­other am­bi­tion is to be­come a mid­wife later in life,” she said.

Vanessa will be kept busy at the up­com­ing show on Satur­day and Sun­day, May 20-21 sell­ing raf­fle tick­ets and pre­sent­ing tro­phies and sashes to the var­i­ous win­ners.
