Car­lyon wins golf comp

GOLF: This week at the Mun­dub­bera Golf Course play­ers com­peted in a Mother’s Day Eclec­tic com­pe­ti­tion.

Play­ers com­peted in a multi round of golf that re­sulted in one 18-hole score per player.

Golfers com­pared their score cards for each round and se­lected the low­est score for these rounds on each hole.

Gra­ham Car­lyon won the Mother’s Day Eclec­tic Com­pe­ti­tion with a score of 26 sta­ble­ford points.

Craig Pos­tle was run­ner-up with 23 points. Ball win­ners were Peter Hun­sley 23, Col Cluff 22, Alan Potter 21, Wally Ben­ham 20 and Gra­ham Lohse 20. Pin shots went to Peter Hun­sley on hole five, and Gra­ham Car­lyon on hole nine. Lor­raine Lin­den­mayer won the ladies com­pe­ti­tion with a score of 33 nett, with Lyn Car­lyon win­ning the ball com­pe­ti­tion on 34 nett. Lyn Car­lyon won both the sec­ond shot to sixand sec­ond shot to nine. Com­pe­ti­tion is on again this Sun­day.
