Hotels invite guests to strip off and take selfies

ONE accommodation group is offering an, ahem, package that allows hotel guests to bare all for art’s sake, in the privacy of their own hotel rooms. The Art Series Hotel Group is inviting guests to sleep over, lose their robes, strike a pose in the nuddy and become the muse of a life-drawn masterpiece.

Guests can stand proud in all their glory like da Vinci’s David, gracefully recline or robe up a la the Renaissance.

The package offers one night’s accommodation and, during their stay, guests specify the time of a delivery of a camera to their room.

They then have a set time to take a photo using the camera and timer.

The photo is then sent via an encrypted link to artists. Artists will line draw the subjects, remotely, in their own studio.

Guests are then sent their drawing, with signed delivery, from the Art Series Hotel Group.

And for those worried about their photos resurfacing, the group promises the photo will be deleted permanently and will not be distributed anywhere else.

The offer is on until June 14.
