So­cial bowls in Gayndah

BOWLS: Muriel Glover has found her­self atop the leader board at the Gayndah so­cial bowls, held every Thurs­day at Gayndah RSL.

Glover took out the night with three wins and 58 points to beat out run­ner-up Beryl Palmer, who got three wins and 50 points.

Rene Tay­lor was the sec­ond run­ner-up af­ter se­cur­ing 50 points to edge out Dawn Bramer on 45 points.

Clos­ing out the play­ers who to­talled 40 or more points was Gary Tay­lor, who man­aged a score of 41 points.

Dawn Sul­li­van (36), Phillip Gram­bower (34), Maria Hunt (34) and Kit Ge­orge (30) all rounded out the play­ers who fin­ished in the 30s.

Fred Maxwell was just be­hind with 28 points to equal Rita Davis, who also posted a score of 28.

So­cial bowls games are played every Thurs­day night at the Gayndah RSL sub-branch from 7pm and new play­ers or spec­ta­tors are al­ways en­cour­aged to get in­volved and have some fun.
