CORINDA STATE HIGH VISIT

Central and North Burnett Times - - NEWS -

The Year 9 and 10 Agriculture students played host this week, to a group of Year 10 students from Corinda State High School. The students along with the School’s Agriculture Teacher Mr Stuart Halsey, travelled from Brisbane as part of a three-day tour of local cattle properties and rural industries and took the opportunity to visit a rural school with agriculture facilities. The Monto Students were excited to promote the horticultural facilities within the Agriculture department as well as demonstrate the skills of the successful cattle club team. Bunyip, the School’s Champion Led Steer at the recent Monto Show, was a highlight for the visiting students. As a school with a strong Agriculture department, we appreciate working with other schools throughout Queensland, and look forward to establishing a partnership with Corinda High in the future.
