Indoor bowls scores big
BOWLS: Gayndah resident and avid indoor and lawn bowler Gary Taylor has taken back top spot at the Gayndah indoor social bowls.
Taylor took out top spot by securing a score of 196 points with three wins while second placed Lyn Miller was only 20 points behind with 176 and three wins.
The next closest player to the top two finishers was Fred Maxwell with 159 points, just edging out Rob Miller who secured 156 points.
Joy Thompson rounded out the players who scored over 150, with 153 points.
Not a single player form the the field of 14 scored below 100 points.
Rita Davis (146) and Muriel Glover (143) each scored over 140 points.
Dawn Sullivan and Rene Taylor each finished with more than 130 points each.
THE Gayndah social indoor bowls is hosted at the Gayndah RSL Sub Branch hall every Thursday night with a rolling season schedule so it’s never a bad time to join in the fun.
