In­door bowls scores big

BOWLS: Gayn­dah res­i­dent and avid in­door and lawn bowler Gary Tay­lor has taken back top spot at the Gayn­dah in­door so­cial bowls.

Tay­lor took out top spot by se­cur­ing a score of 196 points with three wins while sec­ond placed Lyn Miller was only 20 points be­hind with 176 and three wins.

The next clos­est player to the top two fin­ish­ers was Fred Maxwell with 159 points, just edg­ing out Rob Miller who se­cured 156 points.

Joy Thomp­son rounded out the play­ers who scored over 150, with 153 points.

Not a sin­gle player form the the field of 14 scored be­low 100 points.

Rita Davis (146) and Muriel Glover (143) each scored over 140 points.

Dawn Sul­li­van and Rene Tay­lor each fin­ished with more than 130 points each.

THE Gayn­dah so­cial in­door bowls is hosted at the Gayn­dah RSL Sub Branch hall ev­ery Thurs­day night with a rolling sea­son sched­ule so it’s never a bad time to join in the fun.
