Golf comp hits 27 holes

GOLF: It was the an­nual Cit­rus chal­lenge held at the week­end with golfers play­ing 27 holes in Mun­dub­bera.

The win­ner of the event was -Tim Mes­ner and Craig Pos­tle with 67 points.

Claim­ing the nine hole com­pe­ti­tion was David Zipf and Justin Whe­lan 24; whilst Stephen Zipf and Ian Maskovich 45 won the 18 holes.

The Brad­mans went to Peter Hun­sley and Gra­ham Lohse. Pin shots went to Col Cluff on 5, Craig Pos­tle on sec­ond to 8, and Mal­colm Dowe on 9.

The Ladies 27 hole com­pe­ti­tion was won by Lor­raine Lin­den­mayer and Chris­tine Vi­cary with 64 points. They also won the 9 hole com­pe­ti­tion.

Jenny Lohse and Mau­reen Ben­ham 39 won the 18 hole com­pe­ti­tion.

Lois Mes­ner and Daphne Wil­liams were the Brad­mans win­ners.

Ac­cu­rate shots went to Lois Mes­ner on 4, Lor­raine Lin­den­mayer on 5, and Daphne Wil­liams on 2nd shot to 6.
