Impressive hall entries
THE inside of the Teebar Hall for its annual show was awash with colour.
On Saturday co-ordinator Michelle Kinbacher said she was happy with the overall presentation.
“We achieved our goal,” she said
“Overall there were 498 entries including 175 in photography and 120 in home manufacture.”
Mrs Kinbacher said with Teebar being so far away people had to travel.
“I am so appreciative of them entering,” she said. “It is just wonderful.” Dallarnil’s Loretta Hetherington won the rich fruit cake and will now represent Teebar at the Burnett Sub-Chamber judging.
The Biggenden MPHS residents exhibited their champion rose or flower with one of their roses.
Rural ambassador Randall Wixon and Miss Showgirl Sam Olson both had a good time and a busy time selling raffle tickets.
Both are looking forward to the upcoming Burnett Sub-Chamber judging on July 1 at Teebar.
Also inside the hall there was a display by Fraser Coast Regional Council, along with stalls highlighting craft, hats, scarves and earrings and fudge and jams.
