TOUCH FOOT­BALL: Pis­tol Knight has taken the Gayn­dah Touch Foot­ball’s win­ter sea­son for 2017.

Pres­i­dent Stacey Dun­can said in the A-grade grand fi­nal, Pis­tol Knight de­feated Hash­tags in a spec­tac­u­lar game of touch.

B-grade saw The Heat beat Stop n Go and in C-grade Ele­mona­tors came out on top against Sub­lime.

Most touch downs for the sea­son went to Mitch Ballin with 42.

Ni­cole Chap­man was the women’s win­ner with 19 touch downs.

Best and fairest awards went to Cal­lum Evans, Brittany Ballin, Emily Schif­fke and Karl Op­per­man.

Gayn­dah Touch Foot­ball’s sum­mer sea­son starts on Wed­nes­day July 19.

Any new team nom­i­na­tions must be sub­mit­ted by Mon­day July 10.
