Darts is any­one’s game

DARTS: The Mundubbera Darts As­so­ci­a­tion re­sumed its sea­son af­ter a break and play­ers were out in force on Wed­nes­day, June 28.

In what has been de­scribed as a stel­lar sea­son, the as­so­ci­a­tion is see­ing play­ing num­bers on the rise.

The re­sults for this week were: RF2s 8 de­feated Frogs Hol­lows 3, Bulls­eye Ban­dits 7 de­feated Sharp Shoot­ers 3 and Don't Knows 7 de­feated Drifters 4.

Many play­ers scored more than 100 points, in­clud­ing:

Lenny 100, David 120, Caro­line 100, Den­nis 100, Gilly 100, Leo 140, Carol 100, Ian 100, Gar­net 117, Paul 3 by 100, Kyle 100, 140, 2 by 100, Roachie 125, Cor 100, Ray 132, Alas­tair 100, Lexie 100, Tony 133, 104, 100, Be­van 2 by 100, Al 2 by 100, 140, 125, 100.

Mundubbera Darts pres­i­dent Be­van Holzheimer said he was adamant the com­pe­ti­tion could go to any­one.

“We’re see­ing some great dart play­ers this year and it could to go any­one,” Mr Holzheimer said.
