Mundubbera Darts off to a good start
DARTS: The Mundubbera Darts club committee is pleased with how the season has progressed with around 40 members taking to the courts every week.
Mundubbera Darts president Bevan Holzheimer said it had been a good season but would like to see more members take part in the season.
“We’ve seen some good numbers this season but, like any club, it doesn’t hurt to have more people take part in the competition,” Holzheimer said.
The club currently has six teams consisting of Bullseye Bandits, Drifters, Sharp Shooters, Frogs Hollows, RF2s and Don’t Knows.
Players from as far as Biggenden attend every week.
“Everyone is welcome to attend and have a game, it’s a lot of fun and it doesn’t matter if you win or lose,” Holzheimer said.
“It’s a great game to play, it takes a lot of focus but it’s completely worth it.
“We play both social and competition and people love that.”
Mundubbera darts takes place every Wednesday night from 7pm at the Mundubbera showgrounds and everyone is welcome.
