■ 28 EIDSVOLD BOWLS CLUB DINNER. Come and hang out with members of the community and enjoy a home-made meal from 6pm onwards. It’s important you RSVP your interest to Dianne Wilson on 0410 334 396 by Thursday night so they know how many to cater for. It costs $22 and it includes a buffet. ■ 28 NATIVE FOREST MANAGEMENT FIELD DAY MUNDUBBERA. Held at Allan Deen’s property, 3245 Mundubbera Dulong Rd, Beeron. It runs from 9am–3pm. Topics include impacts of thinning on forest health, productivity, economic returns and grazing. For further information, see the flyer.
■ 29 EIDSVOLD RALLY DAY. The next rally will be Saturday, July 29, starting at 8.30am. Please bring your own water and morning tea. The rally will be followed by a sausage sizzle and meeting to finalise arrangements for our catering for the Eidsvold Polocrosse weekend on August 5 and 6. New members welcome. This event will be held at the Eidsvold Showgrounds.

■ 29 OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE DARRYL CHARLES JENKINSON HISTORY ROOM. A formal invitation is extended to everybody who knew Darryl Jenkinson. The official opening of the unveiled Darryl Charles Jenkinson History Room will take place at 9.30am at the Mundubbera library. It will follow an official welcome by Deputy Mayor Faye Whelan. Once the ceremony is finished, all members of the public will be invited to celebrate the occasion with a complimentary morning tea.
■ 30 MUNDUBBERA HORSE AND PONY CLUB RALLY DAY. At Twin Rivers, Mundubbera (fun day of working a mechanical cow, jumping and dressage basics). Something for everyone. The event runs from 10am–3pm. BYO lunch.
MARKET DAY: The Coalstoun Lakes markets are on again this Saturday from 8am to noon.
