Each year the Queensland Rugby League selects 6 country locations to host an Intrust Super Cup game. This year the televised game between East Tigers and North Devils was held at Mundubbera on Sunday 23rd July at Mundubbera RLFC. To promote the ISC and the game of Rugby League, the Central Queensland Development Committee conducted school visits across the Monto District, with Monto State High School participating in a lunchtime game and skill session on Thursday. Retired Manly, New South Wales and Australian player, Steven Menzies attended the lunchtime session, participating in drills and a student game, before offering a question and answer session. The students were eager to show their talent on the field and enjoyed the opportunity to meet with a representative NRL player. A huge thank you to the Central Queensland Development office for providing the opportunity for our students to engage in this event.
