■ COFFEE IN THE PARK AT GAYNDAH ON AUGUST 3
IT’S almost that time again – the free Coffee in the Park health and well-being community events will be held Gayndah on August 3.
A new venue for the Gayndah event – right outside the Courthouse. It starts at 10am-1pm.
So come along and meet the IWC North Burnett team, diabetes educator Janelle Anderson, and be in the running for great prizes. Everyone who has a SWAP ONE health check with the team on the day goes in the draw to win shopping or eating vouchers of $50, $30 and $20.
■ EIDSVOLD BOWLS CLUB DINNER ON AUGUST 4
COME and hang out with members from the community with a homemade meal from 6pm onwards. It’s important that you RSVP your interest to Dianne Wilson on
0410 334 396 by Thursday night so they know how many people to cater for. It costs $22 and it includes a buffet.
■ MONTO MARKETS HELD ON AUGUST 5 TAKES place at the bottom end of Newton (main) Street near the Visitor Information Centre starting at 9am. Fresh vegies, cakes, crafts and much more.

■ TWO-DAY POLOCROSSE CARNIVAL AT EIDSVOLD ON AUGUST 5-6
EVERYONE is encouraged to attend as it will be a huge weekend. On Friday night there will be a sausage sizzle. On Saturday night a hot meal will be provided. Local DJ Entertainment. Bar and food all weekend – including breakfast both days. Held at the Eidsvold Showgrounds, Burnett Highway, Eidsvold.
