Thundercats visit Monto

Central and North Burnett Times - - WEEKEND -

NETBALL: The Wide Bay Thundercats will be coming to Monto on August 20 to hold a coaching clinic for junior players, along with anyone else who would like to attend.

This will then be followed by a couple of friendly games of Monto vs Wide Bay Thundercats.

Monto netballer Taylah Steger represented the entire North Burnett region as she played with the Thundercats this year, who travelled 8500km and were on the road for 285 hours to play in the Queensland State Netball League this year.

This month, they’ll be returning Monto the favour.

Things are changing for Monto netball, with possible plans to move the netball court.

They had a good run in the Gay Fraser Carnival in Biloela last week.

The under-10 Monto Zigzags team was awarded runner-up in their age group.

Brieanna Curtis won best and fairest player in the Open division.
