BIGGENDEN tourism is booming with the RV Stopover and caravan sites packed, it is wonderful to have so many travelling visitors.

To add to all the great events that are constantly being organised by faithful volunteers the Biggenden Country Markets have evolved into a major event promoting Biggenden and all surrounding areas.

Giving a chance for all residents to meet socially and catch up with friends and family.

Biggenden Men’s Shed from 8am will have their sausage sizzle, cold drinks, car boot sale at $5 per site fee, raffle and tours of their shed.

The Den Community Craft Shop will be open offering a variety of stalls including jewellery, garden ornaments and decorated towels.

Fresh fruit and vegetables and a new range of herbs will also be for sale.

The CWA ladies will have their yummy morning teas and their ever popular CWA cook books for sale and book fair.

The Grand and the Commercial hotels have some surprises lined up for all and the Biggenden businesses will have some special prices on goods that you will not want to miss.

These country markets will continue on the third Saturday of each month so mark your calendars and join in the fun - the success of all events is up to the community.

The more visitors we bring to the Biggenden area the more our economy will grow.

We encourage residents to come along and have a table and show off your hobbies and your crafts, giving our visitors and locals a chance to enjoy your passion.

Hoping to have some surprises in Biers Park for both the young and the elderly we have heard there is some “Biggenden Rocks” still hiding there.

Anyone who would like to do this please phone Lorraine 4129 9260.
