Rates for all descriptions dipped slightly on previous rates but demand remained strong, particularly on younger cattle. Consignments were received from Biloela, Boyne Valley, Eidsvold, Harrami and Monto districts.
Bulls sold from 200c/kg to 246c/kg topping at $2020. Stephen Kummerfeld sold 600kg Droughtmaster bullocks for 263c/kg or $1570. WW and SM McLachlan sold Brahman bullocks 575kgs for 260c/kg or $1496. Kurt Goody sold Droughtmaster cross trade heifers for $1290 or 265c/kg. Monto State High School sold Charbray cows 647kg for 222c/kg or $1437. Lurline Graving penned Brahman cross cows to return $1180 or 220c/kg. PJ Stewart sold 201kg Euro cows to 237c/kg or $1190.

N and O Delise, Biloela penned Brahman steers 413kgs to return $1195 or 289c/kg. Good quality Simmental cross weaner steers 258kgs sold to 352c/kg or $910. Whinstone Pastorals Limo weaner steers sold to 347c/kg or $727. John Cahalane also penned Charbray weaner steers 195kgs to return $670 or 343c/kg. Lo and AR Morris sold mixed aged Belmont Red cross cows and calves for $1200, while Paul Rideout “Ruby Ellen” sold Braford Droughtmaster cows and calves to $1400.
