Dart num­bers on rise

DARTS: The Mun­dub­bera Darts As­so­ci­a­tion is en­joy­ing a surge in pop­u­lar­ity with the num­ber of play­ers lin­ing up for the Wed­nes­day night com­pe­ti­tion on the in­crease.

Bulls­eye Ban­dits are among the teams to have recorded ma­jor im­prove­ments in re­cent weeks while the Don’t Knows are also on the rise.

The Bulls­eye Ban­dits de­feated the Frogs Hol­lows 10-1 in last week’s round, Don’t Knows shot down Sharp Shoot­ers 10-1 and RF2’s beat Drifters 7-44.

In the pre­vi­ous round, RF2’s had a for­feit to Sharp Shoot­ers, Bulls­eye Ban­dits edged out Don’t Knows 6-5 and Drifters de­feated Frogs Hol­lows 9-1.

Play­ers to score 100 points and over in their set were: Alas­tair 100; Shawn 138, 100; Tony 100; Bevan 100, 125; Al 100, 125; Len 100; Den­nis 133; Melody 102; Lenny 100; Paul 123; Ferdy 100, 100; David 100; Jeff 123; Scott 102; Ray 100; Carli 120; Flynn 140. Darts every Wed­nes­day at the Mun­du­berra show­grounds from 7pm.
