BALLY Loran, established in 1896, has a total area of 175.342 ha or 433.27 acres on 3 portions of elevated red soil cultivation with a northerly slope.
The property is irrigated from three springfed trenches / storages and pumps at between 28,000 to 40,000 gph.
The watering is set up in three standalone systems, one from each trench, all with 6" PVC underground mains with hydrants and also before the pivot pads.
The present irrigation setup waters 200 acres and the trenches have been in place for 35 years which have never been empty.
There are three irrigators, a Centre Pivot which cover 45 acres which can be shifted into three locations and two others if required, a lateral boom and a travelling irrigator.
