COALSTOUN Lakes youngster Leah McNaughton set up her own plant stall beside her mother at the spring markets on Saturday.

The seven-year-old has always had an interest in gardening and decided when the markets first started up she was keen to have a stall and sell her tomatoes.

Leah said she loves cherry tomatoes and that’s why she grows them.

But when her mum Lauren started her own garden business, Hope Farm, Leah decided she would pot up her own succulents to sell and keep her tomatoes for herself.

At the July markets she sold all she had potted up while on Saturday with three times the number Leah had another sell-out day.

Leah said when the family go to other markets she checks out the stalls and buys cacti she doesn’t have.
