Gayndah indoor bowls
BOWLS: Gayndah’s indoor social bowls, held every Thursday evening at the Gayndah RSL Hall, is one of the sports in the North Burnett that runs on a rotating season.
Meaning almost any given Thursday of the year, you can find the social bowlers at the hall having a game.
Alternating bi-weekly from social games to competition games the bowlers enjoy the best of both.
The most recent Thursday round was won by Beryl Palmer who top scored with three wins and 186 points.
Gary Taylor finished just behind Palmer with a final score of 180 points.
Muriel Glover kept Taylor on his toes by scoring a total of 170 points herself.
The closest to Glover’s score was Leo Taticek who managed a final score of 150 points, tied with Dawn Bramer who also scored 150 points.
Phillip Grambower finished on 143, Rita Davis got 140 points, Maria Hunt with 138, Boyd Baker with 123 and finally Fred Maxwell with 11 points.
