THE Gayndah St Matthews Anglican Church will again host its annual Monster Garage Sale this coming Saturday, November 11 and everyone is invited to attend.

Gayndah resident and church member Kay Wharton said everything on sale was donated from members of the church and the wider community.

“We collect the donations throughout the year. We usually get great support in that regard,” Mrs Wharton said.

“This year I was a little afraid we wouldn’t have as much and our reputation would be at stake but then we managed to find some more boxes of donated goods.”

St Matthews in Gayndah is located at 97 Capper Street and the garage sale is set to start at 8am with the furniture and larger items outside the building before the hall opens at 8.30am.

Some of the centrepiece items for sale include a vintage wall clock, large telescope and original version of a Cabbage Patch Doll from the 1980s and a vintage hand crafted bowl.

“The chime doesn’t work on the wall clock but I think that will be a bonus for some people,” Mrs Wharton said.
