Fans keen to see Norma

SPEND a de­light­ful af­ter­noon with one of Aus­tralia’s finest, Norma O’Hara Mur­phy, at the Coal­stoun Lakes Hall on Sun­day, Novem­ber 19.

A per­former for more than 30 years, the multi-award-win­ning singer and song­writer will bring her au­di­ence all the won­der­ful songs and sto­ries they love.

Mur­phy will present her new al­bum, Sweet Love, fea­tur­ing Golden Gui­tar win­ners along with old favourites and new songs.

She has not toured since 2000 and, much to the de­light of her many loyal fans, has re­turned.

Not only does she sing coun­try, Mur­phy was named Aus­tralian Celtic Artist of the Year back in 2014.

Her lat­est project is her Lit­tle Fes­ti­val in the Bush.

Mur­phy holds the Bony Moun­tain Mu­sic Fes­ti­val on her War­wick prop­erty each Septem­ber.

She said it was a won­der­ful com­mu­nity event and in­cluded the best Aus­tralia had to of­fer fea­tur­ing top Celtic, coun­try and blue­grass artists.

Mur­phy is a quiet achiever and has writ­ten songs for Slim Dusty, John Wil­liamson and many oth­ers.

Mur­phy and Dusty won sev­eral Golden Gui­tars to­gether and work­ing with him was a big highlight for Mur­phy.

The Coal­stoun Lakes con­cert starts at 1.30pm. Ad­mis­sion is $20 per per­son while chil­dren en­ter free. Af­ter­noon tea is in­cluded.
