Fans keen to see Norma
SPEND a delightful afternoon with one of Australia’s finest, Norma O’Hara Murphy, at the Coalstoun Lakes Hall on Sunday, November 19.
A performer for more than 30 years, the multi-award-winning singer and songwriter will bring her audience all the wonderful songs and stories they love.
Murphy will present her new album, Sweet Love, featuring Golden Guitar winners along with old favourites and new songs.
She has not toured since 2000 and, much to the delight of her many loyal fans, has returned.
Not only does she sing country, Murphy was named Australian Celtic Artist of the Year back in 2014.
Her latest project is her Little Festival in the Bush.
Murphy holds the Bony Mountain Music Festival on her Warwick property each September.
She said it was a wonderful community event and included the best Australia had to offer featuring top Celtic, country and bluegrass artists.
Murphy is a quiet achiever and has written songs for Slim Dusty, John Williamson and many others.
Murphy and Dusty won several Golden Guitars together and working with him was a big highlight for Murphy.
The Coalstoun Lakes concert starts at 1.30pm. Admission is $20 per person while children enter free. Afternoon tea is included.
Bookings are available by phoning Terena Staib on 4127 5006 or tickets will be available at the door.
