GOLF: Gayn­dah Golf Club will host the highly-an­tic­i­pated Bar­lyne Classic this Satur­day; a three-ball am­brose.

Club sec­re­tary Diana Baker said the day is one of the big­gest on Gayn­dah’s cal­en­dar.

“Your en­try into the event will in­clude some great food and prizes from our gen­er­ous spon­sors,” she said.

Teams will be tee­ing off at 10.30am.

“It’s not an event to be missed,” Mrs Baker said.

Last week the Gayn­dah Golf Club saw some good num­bers and even bet­ter re­sults from lo­cals.

“The greens are play­ing re­ally true since groom­ing 10 days ago,” Mrs Baker said.

Pres­i­dent Mick Coul­son had the round of a life­time with 59 net on Satur­day, tak­ing out all avail­able pin shots.

Johnny Ed­wards and Shaun Allen de­feated David and Jeremy Zahl in the sec­ond round of the 4BBB Match­play.
