Attend the CQ regional agronomy updates
GROWERS are invited to join Doug Sands, Darren Aisthorpe and the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries’ regional agronomy team for a series of meetings being held across Central Queensland to discuss and share the latest research and trial findings.
The Central Queensland Agronomy Update will be about research being undertaken by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries and GRDC in your region. It will include:
■ Winter cereals – is risk costing you more than frost? ■ Nutrition – deep placement of nutrients, how long will it last?
■ Pulse crops – does row spacing and population really matter?
■ Farming systems – do more crops always equal higher incomes?
■ Weeds – can summer residual herbicides handle hot dry weather better than others?
■ Summer cereals – does precision placement assist productivity.
