Numbers speak for themselves

Central and North Rural Weekly - - NEWS -

THIS highly productive avocado farm – totalling about 92.29ha (228 acres) with 8038 productive trees from 11,230 potable sites individually irrigated on 90 acres at 312 trees/ha – is supported by production facilities which are second to none.

This is prime farming at its best.

It is located in the tightly held Scotchy Pocket farming district, 30 minutes drive north of Gympie, Queensland and 2.5 hours from Brisbane.

It has fertile volcanic red soils with 305 megalitres of water, including a 200-megalitre water licence from the Mary River and 105 megalitres from four dams, supporting the avocado plantation.

The balance of pastures is improved with rhodes, kikuyu and green panic carrying 40 head of agistment cattle.

With established markets in Queensland, and recently branded for the Melbourne markets, this farm has been taken to the next level in securing future market dominance.

The outstanding avocado enterprise has been fully developed for profit and provides an opportunity like no other.

Quite simply the numbers speak for themselves.

An extensive inventory of immaculately maintained machinery and equipment is included in the sale on a WIWO basis.
