Create personalised baubles to decorate your festive tree
KEEP the kids busy these holidays by getting them to add a personal touch to your Christmas decorations that will make gorgeous keepsakes.
A selection of blue or red Christmas baubles (depending on which design you’d like to do)
White and brown paint (depending on design)
Black and red permanent markers
An egg carton
Finger-painted baubles Snowman bauble
Coat child’s hand with a thin coat of white paint and press hand against blue bauble, with the palm at the base.
Leave upside down in egg carton to dry.
Once dry, use a black marker to draw hats on the top of each fingertip, marking on the bauble.
Draw eyes and mouth on the top finger bumps and three dots for buttons on the middle of each snowman.
Use an orange marker to draw a nose. Reindeer bauble
Dip child’s thumb into brown paint and press upright against side of a red bauble.
Repeat this three more times evenly around the bauble, then leave to dry in egg carton.
Once dry, use black marker to draw two antlers on top of each thumb print and two dots near the centre of thumb print for eyes.
Use red marker to draw a nose just under the eyes to finish.
