Break-ins ar­rest

DE­TEC­TIVES from Mo­ran­bah Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tion Branch have ar­rested and charged a man over a num­ber of break and en­ters be­tween Oc­to­ber 2017 and Satur­day, Jan­uary 27. It was al­leged a 21-year-old Mo­ran­bah man was linked to break-ins at a leagues club, gym­na­sium and day care cen­tre dur­ing that pe­riod. In the lat­est al­leged in­ci­dent, the man forced en­try to a Mills Ave leagues club shortly be­fore 7am on Satur­day, Jan­uary 27, where a sig­nif­i­cant amount of dam­age was caused to a num­ber of poker ma­chines and money stolen. The man was ar­rested Tuesday night and has been charged with three counts of en­ter premises and com­mit in­dictable of­fence by break, two counts of pos­sess­ing dan­ger­ous drugs and one count of pos­sess uten­sils or pipes.
