Aged care raf­fles

THE ladies in the aged care sec­ond-hand store have held a raf­fle for Capricorn res­cue.

The ladies have raised $450 for the res­cue group. Well done.

Auda Maclean hit

WHAT a great ar­ti­cle the Graz­i­her mag­a­zine did on lo­cal artist Auda Maclean.

The Graz­i­her is a mag­a­zine with the ed­i­tor be­ing Claire Dunne form Duaringa and there are some great ar­ti­cles and pho­tos.

Some of Auda’s art­works are fea­tured and of course Bar­al­aba and sur­rounds are al­ways a favourite for Auda.

Well done Auda.

St Paddy’s Day

THE ho­tel is cel­e­brat­ing St Pa­trick’s day with a fam­ily ori­ented night planned at the pub.

All fam­i­lies are wel­come to join in and don’t for­get to wear the green, next Fri­day, March 17.

Fish re­lease

THE Bar­al­aba Fish Stock­ing Group re­leased 14,500 yel­low belly fin­ger­lings at the lo­cal picnic area on Fe­bru­ary 26, with the help of its ju­nior an­glers.

Our fish for the fu­ture thank you all.

Please note Bar­al­aba’s fish­ing com­pe­ti­tion is Septem­ber 9 and 10.
