Sun­day was a sin­gle stroke for the men’s spon­sored by Kerry More­land. The win­ner was Troy Lons­dale with a very fine 66 net from Butch Hut­ton on 69, Kerry Mun­ster on 69, Rod Cal­low 72 and Rick Gar­rett 73. Pin shots No.2/16, No.8 and No.13 went to T. Lons­dale, No.11 went to R. Cal­low. The cap­tain’s pin went to Troy Lons­dale 3.23m from K. More­land 3.37m

The Wowan Men’s Open is on next Sun­day. There is a large so­cial group play­ing at Biloela on Sun­day and all the hire bug­gies are booked.

Don’t for­get the Vets’ open com­ing up on Fri­day, April 7.

Moura

Last week there were nine play­ers for a stable­ford and the win­ner was Brett Maller on 36 points, run­ner-up went to Syd Dunne on 35 points. The pin shots were No.2/11 A. Hay­den, No.6/15 A. Hay­den and No.7/16 L. Luhrs.

Thurs­day Club last week there were six play­ers and the win­ner was Gary James on 22 points. Run­down went to Syd Dunne on 21. Pin shots were No.11 J. Car­mont, No.13 J. Car­mont and the mem­ber­ship was not won. Un­til next time, good golf­ing.

BAMC

On Sun­day we played a sin­gle stable­ford event over 14 holes for BAMC tro­phy. The win­ner this week was Joe Maz­za­cuva with a round scor­ing 29 points, run­ner-up was Ian Kirk on 28 points, and the run­down went to Mick Sze­lag and Don Bal­naves both on 27 points. The en­cour­age­ment award this week went to Wayne Heid with 24 points.

The pin shots No.4 Ian Kirk, No.8 Ian Kirk, No.12 Jim Wat­son (cap­tain’s pin) and No.14 Don Bal­naves.

Next week­end we are play­ing a sin­gle stroke event over 14 holes.

Biloela Ladies

Wed­nes­day, March 1, we played a stable­ford for a tro­phy do­nated by BB’s and Donut King. The win­ner with 40 points was Jean Rath­jen, run­ner-up was Linda Marxsen on count­back from Rosanne Plum­mer, both with 24. Pin shots No.2/6 Sue Thomas, No.11 Denise Spill­man.

Sun­day, March 5, we played a stable­ford for the Betta Elec­tri­cal Tro­phy. The win­ner with 36 was Karen Ar­rowsmtih, run­ner-up Val Gar­rett on 35. Pin shots (spon­sored) No.2/16 Sue Thomas, No.3/17 and No.13 both by Rosanne Plum­mer.

Thanks to the small band at Wowan who put on a good ladies’ open on Satur­day and who braved the tem­per­a­ture and the course.

This Wed­nes­day we will play our monthly medal and Sun­day will be an eclec­tic.

Tar­get Ri­fle Biloela

Still a good turnout at the 8am game, de­spite the weather. Three new play­ers, Bill, Rhyll and Elaine, are set­tling well into the game and are wel­come par­tic­i­pants each week.

Another year has passed, with the AGM sched­uled for March 14. Play at 8am will be as usual, with the meet­ing at 10.30am and morn­ing tea will
