Cricket car­ni­val Satur­day, March 11

THE Moura High School P&C is host­ing a cracker cricket car­ni­val, start­ing at 9am at the soccer fields, Moura Recre­ation Grounds. Bar and can­teen op­er­at­ing all day. Prizes for the best dressed team. Teams of eight must be male and fe­male and chil­dren un­der 12 are worth ex­tra points.

Show­girl lunch Tues­day, March 14

TICK­ETS go on sale for the an­nual Ta­room Miss Show­girl Lun­cheon. Tick­ets are $45, which in­cludes ad­mis­sion and a two-course lunch, and they can be pur­chased from the Ta­room Phar­macy. The lun­cheon will be held on Satur­day, April 8.

GET your tick­ets to this great fundrais­ing event. The tick­ets are on sale now and will fin­ish on Fri­day, March 31 at 12pm. You must get your ticket be­fore this date to be able to en­ter. This event is in aid of the Biloela Pan­thers Ju­nior Rugby League Un­der-11s go­ing to Townsville. Sup­port the kids!

Fish­ing comp Satur­day, April 1

THE Moura Muddy Water Clas­sic Fam­ily Fish­ing Com­pe­ti­tion is on at the Daw­son River Apex Park, Moura. Take part in ju­nior, se­nior men’s and ladies cat­e­gories. There will be cash and prizes to be won, lucky draws, raf­fles bar and can­teen.

Cat­tle han­dling Mon­day, May 22 and Tues­day, May 23

GYRANDA Sta­tion is of­fer­ing cour­ses for prac­ti­cal cat­tle han­dling. It is a two-day pro­gram that can leave you want­ing to do stock work, see­ing the eco­nomic ben­e­fits and the ease in which stock han­dling can be achieved.
