Garden Lovers heading out and about
ON WEDNESDAY last week about 30 to 40 Garden Lovers enjoyed the morning at the home of Liz Peterson at Brigalow Way. Liz certainly has a wonderful selection of trees and plants. Well done Liz, we all enjoyed your home and garden for which we thank you very much.
The next garden to be visited will be at Jo-Ann Grummit’s home. This will be near Thangool where you will go through and turn left after North Kariboe Creek into Roys Rd.
This will be on Wednesday, April 12. Please keep potting plants for the cancer stall in May and please bring along your hat, chair, cup and plate.
Central Queensland Convention
LAST Saturday about 12 Biloela women from the church travelled to St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Rockhampton for the Central Queensland Women’s Convention.
Guest speaker was Di Warren who lives in Sydney with her husband James, three teenagers, 12 surfboards, three netballs and most recently a motorbike.
Di loves teaching God’s word because it never gets old, there’s always more treasures to discover.
It is always great to catch up with lovely friends that we do not see very often.
Di’s topic was decisions and how we make them in this rather messy world we live in.
It was great to see our lovely friends from Gladstone and Emerald as well as Rockhampton.
HAPPY birthday greetings to Emily Hodda, Michelle Budarick, Peter Thiedeke, Natasha Bongers, Yvonne Taylor, Amy McDonald, Leonie Blomfield, John Semgreen, Barbara Carige and Claire Rose Galloway. May you all have a happy and healthy year.
Betty celebrates turning 91
