World Day of Prayer

THANKS to the hospi­tal for al­low­ing our ser­vice to be in the hospi­tal court­yard, about 12 ladies en­joyed our World Day of Prayer.

Barb, Betty and Val­mae en­joyed our visit and joined in with the ser­vice.

We all en­joyed smoko in the semi-heat.

Ju­nior Golf Open

THE club has been busy get­ting the course ready for the ju­nior open this Sun­day and then on March 26 the men's open.

Rain would have been wel­comed on the course, how­ever luck­ily the river wa­ter is do­ing the job.

But it’s still hard work for the few mak­ing it hap­pen.

Good luck ladies with feed­ing the play­ers and we wish you two great opens.

War­riors game

THEIR first home game here in Bar­al­aba will be on to­mor­row.

The War­riors have three teams this sea­son and the Wal­la­roos have a women's team.

Good luck for the sea­son all wel­come to come and watch some great footy.

Bare­foot Bowls

THIS event is on again March 25, play starts at 5pm.

Please have names in by 4pm. All wel­come to join in the fun, no bowls ex­pe­ri­ence re­quired.

Bar­al­aba cel­e­brates 100 years

JULY 29/30 our town will cel­e­brate 100 years of the town and 100 years of the rail­way. A great week­end is planned, with a town day on Satur­day in­clud­ing his­tory and art dis­plays at the Land­care build­ing, vis­its to golf, bowls and ten­nis clubs.

Din­ner on Satur­day night at the RSL hall, with Sun­day a day at the his­tor­i­cal vil­lage.
