Town to mark 100 years
World Day of Prayer
THANKS to the hospital for allowing our service to be in the hospital courtyard, about 12 ladies enjoyed our World Day of Prayer.
Barb, Betty and Valmae enjoyed our visit and joined in with the service.
We all enjoyed smoko in the semi-heat.
Junior Golf Open
THE club has been busy getting the course ready for the junior open this Sunday and then on March 26 the men's open.
Rain would have been welcomed on the course, however luckily the river water is doing the job.
But it’s still hard work for the few making it happen.
Good luck ladies with feeding the players and we wish you two great opens.
THEIR first home game here in Baralaba will be on tomorrow.
The Warriors have three teams this season and the Wallaroos have a women's team.
Good luck for the season all welcome to come and watch some great footy.
THIS event is on again March 25, play starts at 5pm.
Please have names in by 4pm. All welcome to join in the fun, no bowls experience required.
