Service, quality, reliability
Print still holding its own
YOU may think printing services would be low on the list of priorities for many resource and industrial businesses, but for Gladstone Printing Services, corporate and industrial services have been right at the top of their list since 1980.
“We’ve been operational for 37 years and our clients are across the board with large industrial companies, contractors, small business operators and individuals,” Gladstone Printing Services manager Jackie Mannix said.
“Our scope ranges from working for tier 1 and tier 2 firms and we have an excellent understanding of the processes used where purchase order numbers, item or material numbers and confidentiality is important.
“All of my staff are trained in the correct procedures for handling confidential information and ensuring identifying numbers are used where necessary.”
Ms Mannix said despite what some people may think, the printing industry is diverse and no two jobs are the same.
“We endeavour to provide the central Queensland region and beyond as much diversity in our printing as we can. To do this we keep our eye on what is trending around the country and overseas,” she said.
“Quality is the most important driving factor for our business. We have many checks throughout the printing process, from the design concept, to the machines and through to finishing.”
Fully equipped to handle tens of thousands of industry tags, thousands of pre-operational checklist books and similar, and thousands of take 5 books and the like, Ms Mannix said their various printing presses are regularly maintained and ready for large and small runs.
“Our production manager keeps his eye on stock levels so that we always have ample stock for those times when a job is required urgently,” she said.
“Our management systems, customer service and market response is at the forefront of our business and we have a long history working with the resource and industrial sector.
“I believe our customer service is second to none, which has been recognised through numerous of nominations including Best Individual and Best in Business for the Gladstone Observer Best in Business Awards as well as nominations in Best Customer Service.”
