PAN­THERS CUBS Rugby League Foot­ball Club’s can­teen on Rain­bow St was bro­ken into some­time from Septem­ber 1 –9. Thieves broke in through the roller doors and stole an iPad, fil­let steaks, lol­lies and a large quan­tity of spir­its.

Be­tween 2pm on Septem­ber 7 and 6am on Septem­ber 9, thieves at­tempted to break into the cash box at the coun­cil’s wash-down bay on Quarry Rd.

A TOY­OTA LandCruiser with per­son­alised num­ber plates 996 MAD, which was parked on Bell St, was stolen be­tween the hours of 2.30pm on Septem­ber 9 and 8am Septem­ber 10. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion on any of th­ese in­ci­dents is en­cour­aged to phone the Biloela Po­lice Sta­tion on 4992 2333 or Crime Stop­pers on

A 20-YEAR-OLD Biloela man was caught by po­lice trav­el­ling 120kmh in a 70kmh zone. Po­lice in­ter­cepted a Nis­san Sil­via on the Daw­son Hwy at Biloela on Septem­ber 9 at 11.47pm.

The man was is­sued a $1177 in­fringe­ment no­tice for trav­el­ling 50km over the speed limit and a six-month li­cence sus­pen­sion. Biloela Po­lice of­fi­cer-in­charge Se­nior Sergeant Nick Pa­ton warned driv­ers to watch their speed.

“This is a re­minder to peo­ple any­thing over 40kmh re­ceives a penalty such as that and a li­cence sus­pen­sion for six months,” he said. “Take your time, make sure you get there. “Ev­ery ‘k’ over is a killer.”
