THE showers received over the weekend did little to dampen croquet players who enjoyed Tuesday’s game.

However an added challenge was the twigs and leaves scattered over the course by recent winds!

President Aileen will be away next week on business but will be on hand for the quarterly meeting on September 11.

The meeting will be held in the croquet shelter at 9:15am with games to follow.

Elaine has returned from her UK trip and we hope to see her playing again soon.

Great shots were executed by Lance who twice just missed the hoops by a very small margin.

Soon we shall be back to summer playing times as well as end of year breakup, items for discussion at the meeting.
