Kindy turns 7

CHARLEY’S lit­tlest fans helped blow out the can­dles on his birth­day cake this week to cel­e­brate seven years of Charley’s Place in Chin­chilla.

For the af­ter­noon, the child­care cen­tre and kinder­garten was trans­formed into a bounc­ing party zone with a jump­ing cas­tle, bal­loons and fun party ac­tiv­i­ties.

Ed­u­ca­tional leader Jennifer Haig said it was ex­cit­ing to see so many stu­dents and their fam­ily mem­bers cel­e­brate the mile­stone.

“Charley’s Place just keeps grow­ing ev­ery year and it’s a great thing to see so many par­ents and staff con­tin­u­ing to sup­port us,” she said.

“We are ex­tremely proud of the pro­gram we of­fer and the amaz­ing staff mem­bers who are con­stantly giv­ing up their lunch hours to keep ev­ery­thing run­ning.”
