Bears eyeing off ladder top spot
About mid-way through the second half and straight after the penalty shot, a red card saw the Hawks down one player.
The Bears managed to have some good ball movement but some first touches let them down in places and moments later the Hawks were in again, levelling up the score 2-2, leaving the Bears wondering how.
With only a few minutes to go, the Bears found some great passing and were very eager to get that third goal.
With some great shots from Mark Johnson up front, the Bears had some great pressure on the Hawks keeper, but unfortunately Hawks were able to keep the Bears from taking the win on the day and finishing with a 2-2 draw.
The Bears are currently in second place on the ladder and with a couple good wins in the next few weeks they have their sights on the number one spot, currently held by Dalby.
This Sunday, the Chinchilla Bears and Honeybears both have home games. Come down and support your club.
The club canteen will be open with plenty of food, hot and cold beverages, and help cheer on the teams to another good couple of wins.
WARMING UP: Chinchilla Bears’ Matt Hoffman during training on Tuesday night.
