Movie night

EN­JOY a film whilst help­ing out the Chin­chilla Catholic Ladies Com­mit­tee tonight at the pre­miere screen­ing for Florence Fos­ter Jenkins.

Meryl Streep stars in the true story of a New York heiress and so­cialite who ob­ses­sively pur­sued her dream of be­com­ing a great singer.

Doors open at 6pm for re­fresh­ments, raf­fles and a lucky door prize be­fore the movie screens at 7pm.

Tick­ets are $20 and in­cludes wine/beer and savouries, plus en­try to the cinema.

Pro­ceeds for the night go to­wards the Our Lady Help of Chris­tians’ Parish.

Grease night

GREASE is the word to­mor­row night at Chin­chilla RSL Me­mo­rial Club with a Grease themed night.

Get in touch with you in­ner Pink Lady, T-Bird, Riz, Danny or Sandy (whether that be pre- or post-makeover Sandy!) from 8pm un­til late with DJ3MC spin­ning the tunes and prizes for best dressed gent and best dressed lady.

Coun­try mar­kets

DON’T miss this month’s Miles Coun­try Mar­kets in the pic­turesque lo­ca­tion of Miles Golf Club, where you can come for the mar­kets and stay for a hit of golf.

Start­ing bright and early at 7am, there’ll sure to be plenty of bar­gains to nab and good food to try. The mar­kets run un­til noon.

Pavarotti show

THE only per­for­mance of its kind that cel­e­brates the life of Lu­ciano Pavarotti is com­ing to Chin­chilla to­mor­row night.

Per­formed by for­mer Ten Tenor, Roger Davy, the two hour cabaret-style show will fea­ture some of Queens­land’s most tal­ented per­form­ers from 6pm with din­ner at the Chin­chilla RSL Me­mo­rial Club.

Tick­ets are $30 and avail­able through Chin­chilla One Hour Photo on 4662 8114.

Traf­fic party

GET ready to Stop or Go Go Go at the Chin­chilla Com­mer­cial Ho­tel’s Traf­fic Light Party this Satur­day.

Dress code for the night is green if you’re sin­gle and ready to min­gle; orange if not sure, so pro­ceed with cau­tion and red if you’re taken.

DJ Benny will be on the decks from 9pm un­til the wee hours thanks to a 1am late li­cense.
